Students who complete daily kindness challenges, will enter their name in a contest to win a fabulous prize! Look for more information in your child's book bag. Kindness Matters!
Are you ready for a challenge? Read below complete the daily challenge. Then, at the end of the month, if you complete at least 7 the acts of kindness, your name will be placed into a drawing for a Walmart gift card. Have an adult sign off to verify that you completed the challenge. You can also promote kindness by taking a picture and posting (or having a parent post on Facebook) about your kind act of the day. When you post, use the hashtag #JESGratitudeChallenge. Enjoy this this time of appreciating the people and things around you!
Thanksgiving is a great time to give to others! Jesup Elementary School is collecting cans of food during November and we need your help. If you would like to participate, please bring in canned food items from now until Friday, November 22nd. Please check expiration dates! All donations will go to the Good Samaritan Center to help those who are less fortunate. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
It's all free! Tuesday November 19th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the WCHS Soccer Field next to Jaycee Stadium. The Literacy Fair will have train rides, food, game tents, face painting, crafts, entertainment, & much more! Free books while supplies last! See you there!
JES is selling tickets for Boston Butts from Hog N Bones. Tickets are $25 each and can redeemed between now and January 15th. No need to call ahead, just present your ticket at the drive through window to redeem your Boston Butt. Perfect for football season or the upcoming holidays! Contact your child’s teacher or the front office if you would like to purchase a ticket and help support our school!
Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Days October 28 – November 1, 2019 Monday – Join the fight against drugs! Wear camouflage. Tuesday – Team up against drugs! Support your favorite sports team. Wednesday – Celebrate a drug-free life! Wear red to say NO to drugs. Thursday – We’re too bright for drugs! Wear neon colors. Friday – Show good character! Wear your Halloween/character costume (no masks).
Alice in Wonderland came to read to our PreK students today and had them create their own puppet!
Mrs. Poppell's Action Class completed a STEM Scarecrow Challenge. Just another example of our JES stars shining bright!
Our PALs (Primary Assistant Leaders) from Ms. Dudley's class synergizing with Mrs. Pearce's students and improving skills for both groups!

Several of our students are participating in the Coastfest Art contest held in October. Click to see a picture of the student's artwork and those students who participated. We are so proud of the hard work each student put into this project. They are shining bright!
During art class this week, students in Mrs. Madray, Mrs. Beaver and Mrs. Collins' classes celebrated Constitution Day with their artwork. Their artwork will be sent to the State Capital and will be on display for the next few months!
