    It is with great excitement that I continue my journey in education as the Instructional Coach at Odum Elementary. This position allows my passion for teaching, learning, and leading to grow as I improve instruction and serve others. Throughout the day I wear many hats.     • Assist teachers in understanding the Georgia Standards of Excellence
    • Increase the quality of effectiveness of classroom instruction
    • Assist with planning lessons with teachers
    • Observe in classrooms and offer specific feedback
    • Model lessons in classrooms
    • Support teachers in building their teaching skills and applying new knowledge
    • Provide ongoing professional development
    • Develop benchmarks/common assessments
    • Assist teachers in analyzing test scores
    • Assist teachers in using formative assessments to guide instructional planning and recommend instructional strategies to differentiate instruction
    • Work as part of a county wide instructional coach team to deliver trainings to teachers
    • Facilitate grade level meetings

    I have a Master of Education in Early Childhood and a Reading Endorsement from Armstrong Atlantic State University. I also hold an Educational Specialist degree in Brain Based Teaching with a concentration in Teacher Leadership from NOVA.
