Academic Goal
By June 2024, Arthur Williams Middle School will increase the percentage of proficient and distinguished learners by 3% as measured by the Georgia Milestones.
Action Steps:
Support instruction with professional learning during professional learning communities guided by the district PLC monitoring tool to improve Tier 1 instructional strategies.
Implement content area literacy strategies during classroom instruction as determined by the AWMS literacy walkthrough observation tool to increase student literacy skills in all content areas.
Culture Goal
Increase the Measurable Results Assessment (MRA) score in staff leadership by 5 percent.
Action Steps:
AWMS faculty and staff will set personal goals using the Leader In Me goal-setting protocols utilizing the LIM WIG form to increase staff personal effectiveness.
Implement parent engagement opportunities each quarter to support student learning with school and family partnerships
