We are excited for the 2023- 2024 school year in the media center at MRSE! My name is Jessica Oliver. This will be my second year as the media specialist and Kelly Rogers is returning as the media paraprofessional. Check this page for updates, special events, and media resources.
Students will visit the media center weekly with students Pre-K- 1st checking out one book at a time. Students in 2nd- 5th may check out two books at a time (one chapter book and one picture book). Encourage your student to use the media center for the many resources we offer. If you have questions please do not hesitate to reach out.

At Martha Rawls Smith Elementary School, the media center will collaborate with the school community to help students develop a passion for reading and learning. The media center will provide opportunities for learning through books, technology, and occasions for critical thinking. We have a vision to see students grow socially, emotionally, and academically through the resources in the media center.
