Angela Dulaney is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science with a certificate in Disability Studies. After graduating, she hit the ground running in the workforce, gaining experience working with the US Air Force Child and Family Programs in Valdosta, where she learned all about supporting military children and families to meet their unique needs. She then made a move back to Athens to work with Project F.R.E.E. at UGA, teaching Relationship Education to parents in couple and co-parenting relationships. She also led recruitment efforts for the project. Her love for children and families brought her and her husband back to Jesup where she served as the Coordinator for the first school-based community mentor program in Wayne County, Check & Connect, connecting 6th and 9th grade students to local community mentors. Mrs. Dulaney is currently pursuing her Master's degree in School Counseling online, while serving full time as the 11th grade class and 10th grade (A-L) School Counselor.

Mrs. Dulaney values leadership and is driven by her desire to collaborate with other professionals to create a culture of abundance at WCHS and in the community. This means utilizing the resources available and working to connect students to other opportunities, to push students to reach beyond what they can see, to become who they truly want to be.

Mrs. Dulaney currently lives in Jesup with her husband, Tahir Dulaney, and their daughter, Hendrix. In her free time Mrs. Dulaney enjoys creating digital content, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Fun fact: My very first plane ride was a 9ish hour flight to London where I spent 6 weeks studying and interning for the summer. This trip also included a 3 day weekend in my favorite country, Barcelona, Spain!
