Mrs. Ann Douglas and Betta Place, Inc. gifted the book Freddy and Flossy Flutterby to every elementary student in Wayne County on December 10. The story is in memory of Mrs. Douglas’s son, Fred Cox. Mr. Cox was killed in the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Mr. Cox attended elementary school in Wayne County. The message of the day was that we can all use our gifts and talents to make the world a better place.
