Kaylee Mixon-Governor's Honors Program Finalist

Congratulations to Kaylee Mixon for being selected as a finalist for the Governor’s Honors  Program in the area of Communicative Arts. The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) is a four-week residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors. The program is held at Berry College in Rome, GA. It offers instruction designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders. Only about 75 students are selected from thousands of nominees across the state as finalists in the Communicative Arts area of GHP. Kaylee is currently a sophomore at WCHS.
