The annual OES Turkey Trot is Wednesday, November 17th. The times are as listed.... K 8:15-9:00, 1st 9:00-9:45, 2nd 9:45-10:30, 3rd 10:30-11:15, 5th 11:15-12:00, Pre-K 12:00-12:30, 4th 1:15-2:00. Parents are invited to come to the bus ramp area to cheer for the students.

With our COVID-19 numbers steadily improving, we will transition to the Targeted Measures model with all students attending school beginning Monday, September 27. The schedule for the remainder of this week is below: • No students in the buildings on Wednesday, September 22 • Students whose household last names begin with letters L-Z will attend in-person learning at all school sites on Thursday, September 23 and Friday, September 24. All students return to in-person learning at all school sites on Monday, September 27.

Students in the Wayne County School System will return to the hybrid learning model on September 9. Students whose household last names begin with letters L-Z will begin in-person learning on September 9 & 10. Students whose household last names begin with letters A-K will attend in-person learning on September 13 & 14. We will remain in the hybrid model until further notice.

Attention Important
Open House for Odum Elementary is Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021 from 3:30-6:00pm for K-5. Masks are REQUIRED. Also, we ask that only 2 adults per family attend the Open House event. Pre-K Open House/Parent Orientation is Thursday, Aug. 5th at 5:30pm.

Reminder: Open House for all schools is Thursday, August 5, from 3:30 - 6:00 P.M. Masks or face shields are required for both students and other visitors. The first day of school is Monday, August 9. Students and staff will be required to wear masks or face shields. To keep students and staff as safe as possible, schools will be limiting access to persons who are not employees of the school system or enrolled as students.
