Helping Our Neighbors in Need

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, Coach David Poinsett, along with the WCHS Wrestling Team and their families, collected and delivered donations from across Wayne County to aid in relief efforts for the Brantley County wrestling team and the entire Brantley County community that has been impacted by the wildfire. Coach Poinsett wished to give a special thanks to Trey Wiggins (Hardees), Brad Mook [Bone & Joint], Odarius O'Darius Williamson & Ware County Wrestling for pitching in as a community, and to the Wayne County Wrestling student-athletes who stepped up to make a difference in the lives of so many people in need. Galatians 6:2 – “Carry each other’s burdens.”
